Timendu Aghahowa is a writer, and editor of happily ever-afters and spooky goodness, or weirdness (same thing, really). Her story ‘Three Birds and A Nest’ was one of the final fifteen in Farafina’s New African Writing Contest in 2012. She was also a participant of the 2013 Farafina Trust Creative Writing Workshop. Her stories have been published in elevenelevenjournal.com, jsardent.com, and in the anthology, A Handful of Dust.
She doesn’t like early mornings and in a perfect world, she would sleep till 10. She loves cake but mostly has eggs for breakfast. She loves her day job as a TV writer and is hoping to add screenwriter of blockbuster movie to her resume. She’s an ebook kind of gal but also a book collector because there is nothing like the smell and feel of paper and ink and stories. She’s a sucker for romance but also consumes a goodly amount of fantasy. She does make time to read some non-fiction because one must never stop learning. She adores Neil Gaiman, Ilona Andrews, Ellen Datlow, Ben Okri and Octavia Butler. They make her heart super happy.
